We want to plant a church centered on God and his great love for us in Jesus as we recognize and remember that we were made to love God. It’s our desire to build loving relationships flowing from the love God has for us in Jesus. We long to plant a church that seeks the welfare of Englewood. In that, we will also see our own welfare.
Worship
We seek to be a people committed to loving God through worship. This has been the commitment of God’s people from the very beginning of time—to gather each week to be shaped by God and his word through the good news of the gospel for a sinful, hurt, and broken world. Our aim is to proclaim the good news of Jesus and to be shaped by how the gospel changes everything in our lives.
Community
We were designed by God for relationship. It is the core purpose of what it means to be human. God calls us to be a people who love him and who love our neighbors. We are committed to promoting meaningful community within our church and within our city. Our hope is to foster connections that are both personal and participatory.
Mercy
We want to be a people who not only express worship as the gathered people of God, but who also express worship in our daily lives by joining God’s mission to see all of creation redeemed. This means that we want to be equipped with the gospel to live faithfully present in our city. Our desire is to partner with others to promote flourishing in and around the Englewood and University of Denver area.
